Jackson Jiang.
Known as Laopai.
I am an independent photographer based in Guangzhou, China. My practice spans landscape, architecture and portrait photography, with an eye for natural light, composition and the feeling of a place.
In Chinese, I share my work as 老派 Vibe Coding 摄影. Photography remains the centre of my practice; AI-assisted workflows and Vibe Coding help me build the website and explore new ways to organise and present the work.
I value real moments and considered composition. Project details, creative direction and any image licence are discussed personally before we work together.

HOW I USE AI
A tool for making.
Not a hidden author.
Vibe Coding is part of how I build and refine this website with AI assistance. I review the resulting design, copy and interactions. AI-assisted experiments are identified where they appear.
The upper panel is my original photograph. The lower panel is an AI-generated ink interpretation using that photograph as its reference. It is not a documentary image.

Jackson Jiang is an independent photographer based in Guangzhou, China. His Chinese brand is 老派 Vibe Coding 摄影. He combines photography with a self-built website and AI-assisted workflows.
What does he photograph?
His practice includes landscape, architecture and portrait photography. The current public gallery contains landscape, architecture and urban photographs. Portrait photographs remain unpublished.

The photographic portfolio consists of Jackson’s original photographs. The ink panel in Coastal Memory is labelled as an AI-generated interpretation. AI also assists the website and studio workflow.
